Hello everyone! My name is Daniel, I am a full time Maths tutor with a First-Class degree In BSc Mathematics. I provide free Maths tutorials for GCSE and A Level for students. This includes video tutorials explaining topics, exam paper questions, formula sheets and much more. I am on Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter where all accounts are dedicated to helping students with their Maths and to boost confidence.

I am extremely enthusiastic and passionate about mathematics as an academic discipline. So enthusiastic that I have launched my own tutoring company named MathsWithDan. It is extremely gratifying when a student tells me they have been moved up a set in maths, when they tell me they achieved the highest mark in class or when they tell me they have been accepted into their first-choice university. I felt that by developing my own establishment, this would enable me to support students in the best possible manner.

Small Group Tuition

It has been a turbulent last couple of years academically for GCSE and A Level students to say the least. The disruptions that students have faced from exams being cancelled, to students given grades based on mocks, it has left of students with mixed feelings and in turn left parents wondering about forthcoming years.

As a result of the disruptions that students have experienced this year, we are aware that many students are at a disadvantage in regards to preparation for exams.

Starting this September we will be offering GCSE and A Level Maths group classes for just £20 per hour and A level Math classes for £23 per hour. These sessions will be twice a week and they will each last for 1.5 hours. We will cover the entire syllabus from start to finish and make sure students are in the best position possible for next summer’s exams, These lessons will be conducted via Zoom where we have interactive whiteboards and screen sharing available virtually replicating a physical class room.

Sessions will be conducted in small groups, with the aim to review key topics which students typically find difficult. Students will be allocated to groups according to their ability, to ensure a personalised learning experience. Sessions are suitable for all exam boards. I was initially predicted E @ A level, however, I committed myself and turned that around which highlights the potential that can be unlocked by practice and gentle nudge when you need it!

Therefore, whilst I know what it is like to excel academically, I can also sympathise with students who want to do better, hence why I felt obliged to launch MathsWithDan, to help them maximise their potential and progress academically.
